LENS CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS & TIPS
- Clean your eyeglasses lenses daily with anti-reflective cleaner or mild liquid detergent such as Dawn dish soap (optician recommended) to help keep them dirt-free and help clarity.
- Avoid exposing the lenses to hairspray, household spray cleaners, and chemicals as they can break down the lens coatings and material.
- When cleaning your lenses, rinse with lukewarm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth or towel that is free from fabric softener or lotion.
- If lenses are dusty or covered in debris, rinse thoroughly with water before wiping to avoid scratching the lenses.
- Cleaning cloths can be machine washed but avoid fabric softener as it can damage the lenses. New cleaning cloths are also available in our office.
