When I walk in the door, I am greeted by smiles and hello’s from the staff. It feels so comfortable and relaxed. The staff focus on you as a person, walking you from checking in to the exam to the choosing of the glasses.
I never feel pressured into making decisions quickly. I always feel that I am included in the discussion of what is best for my eyes, why certain lenses or frames would be better or worse for what I need.
When I try on different frames I get honest answers on how they look and the staff spend enormous time (and are very patient) as I try to find new frames. The selections are great with many different brands, sizes, and styles. Staff are always willing to order in a different color or size if I like a frame style, but the fit or color isn’t quite my style.
Dr. Gary Kirman is very patient and easy to talk to. He is willing to answer questions or discuss issues. I feel very confident that I am getting the correct prescription and complete exam with all the updated technology in the office. I like that it’s a family owned business and you are not just treated as a number. I like that they offer opportunities for students to work in the office and gain experience. It shows a real commitment to take the time needed to mentor students.
I feel so comfortable and confident that I have brought others in my family over to Kirman’s as I know they will be treated just like I am. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Kirman Eye.

I am a regular patient of this office for numerous reasons. The staff is always pleasant and eager to assist me in my plight to get the best fitting frame. The doctors are all extremely helpful and since I wear contact lens also, I get a top quality examination for both glasses and contacts.
I like the fact that the staff are always willing to help me try new styles of frames as well as the fact that I have worn mono vision contacts as well as multi focal contacts. Each time, the office was consistently making sure I had comfort and could see extremely well.
There is no other place I would go for my eyes and as a long time customer, there is huge value from this office, far beyond my expectation.

WOW…What a wonderful experience. I was so very impressed with the Kirman Eye staff. From my appointment setting to the check out a thorough, professional, and courteous experience. Smiling and friendly receptionists greet you immediately, (and yes, they all are wearing beautiful frames.) The Dr and his intern were so good about explaining and answering every question no matter how small. The optician was very helpful and with so many beautiful frame choices, it was almost overwhelming. Still, I never felt rushed. It is so refreshing to receive compassionate medical attention and superior customer service. Not close to my home but well worth a trip to Hummelstown. Our whole family plans to be patients of Kirman Eye for many years!

I have been a patient at Kirman for many years and have been completely satisfied with the care I receive. In particular, Kirman provides wonderful contact lens consultation and fitting. Angie takes her time and tries many different types of contact lenses. The beauty of Kirman is that they have a huge selection of contact lenses with samples available right in the office. No need to wait to try them out. If a pair doesn’t feel right, there is another choice available immediately. In addition Kirman has all the latest tools and up to date selection of frames as well as sunglasses.

I have been going to Kirman Eye for many years and I would not go anywhere else. They are not only professional, established through generations, they are family to me. I actually look forward to my annual eye visits just to see Dr. Kirman and his wonderful staff members. The office is immaculate, stocked with everything you need from eye glasses to eye vitamins and more. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and comfortable. I even stop in during the year for their annual events and special occasions where they run awesome discounts and just to say hello if I am passing by. I would recommend Kirman Eye for all your needs related to your eyes as you will not be disappointed. The staff is very informative and the office is very up to date on all new technology and devices. I am so glad I don’t have to get my eyes dilated anymore and that Dr. Kirman has the Optomap which is even more advanced at detecting eye diseases before they even start. I can’t say enough about this place, just try it!
